So last week we held a poll to see which quotes everyone thought would be the most inspiring to build and create. We had 14 different quotations that I’ve been collecting since I’ve started MindGear. We ended up with 25 votes, and the winners are:
If we knew what we were doing, it would not be called research, would it? - Albert Einstein
I have learned to use the word impossible with the greatest caution. - Wernher Von Braun
Its kind of fun to do the impossible. - Walt Disney
I think we ended up with some great quotes and I can’t wait to put them up on the wall for everyone to see. If you’re interested in the poll results then here they are!
We also tried a social media experiment with this poll. In the poll I asked for the submitters name and the name of the person who forwarded the poll to them. In that way I was able to construct a tree showing the number of folks each person brought to the poll. The contest was to see who had the strongest tree. And here is a picture of the final tree.
I thought this was a fun competition, but of course it was my idea. So let me ask you, was this an interesting competition? Would you like to see something similar in the future? How do you think we could get more participants in the future?
