This weekend Peter Rocheleau will be our speaker at the Rocket City Inventor’s Club. Peter has a wealth of experience in procurement and mass production of products. This is the end goal for an inventor, when your idea is going to made in quantity and distributed to everyone who wants/needs it. So come by and hear Peter talk about his experiences. The meeting is at 10 am on Saturday and is open to everyone, whether or not they are a member.
Here is his bio:
Peter Rocheleau has been with Global Special Effects full time since 2011; however he has worked on special projects for the company for 6 years. He grew up in New England and graduated from Bryant University in Rhode Island. He spent 18 years as a retail buyer for several regional retail chains based in the north east. He also worked for 18 years as the Vice President of imports and product development for a number of manufacturers based in New England.
Peter now serves as the Vice President of Orient Operations for Global Home; the retail division of Global Special Effects. He also assists intellectual property branch of Global Special Effects, License My Product. Peter works closely with the factories overseas that are responsible for product manufacturing. He makes several trips to China each year, as well as many other domestic trips for retail and product development.
