This week I explored the myriad of software programs for 2D and 3D design. I finally settled on using ShopBot’s PartWorks for my racetrack design. I created the outer cut path, and then copied the cut lines and resized it, keeping it proportional, to create the inner area. I did some further manipulation to the inner cut path, as simply resizing it left it proportional yet oddly shaped.
I tried out a few 3D modeling programs, and made a few incomplete files. I did complete one heart in 3DTin.
