Bits from Bytes 3d Printer with triple head

MindGear’s 3d printer, a Bits From Bytes 3D Touch with Triple head. It prints in three different spools in either ABS plastic (like LEGO’s) or PLA plastic. Multiple colors too.

Chris Anderson, formerly the managing editor of Wired, has a new book out, called Makers. Its sitting on my shelf, one of many books I plan on reading someday when I have time not covered by helping members out and getting equipment working. This exerpt talks about his girls and their use of a 3d printer to recreate their Sims style living spaces.

Just imagine. A day when kids can draw up and create their own toys. Oh wait, that day is here.
